About Course

The Certified Corporate Finance Analyst (CCFA) program is a rigorous,
application-focused certification designed to equip participants with the essential
analytical tools and decision-making frameworks used in modern corporate finance.
This curriculum moves beyond theoretical concepts to focus on practical skills like
financial modeling, capital budgeting, corporate valuation, and advanced risk
management. Participants will master financial statement analysis, learn how to
assess merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities, and develop optimal capital
structure strategies, preparing them for roles in financial planning & analysis (FP&A),
treasury, investment banking, and corporate development. The program heavily
utilizes Microsoft Excel for hands-on case studies and modeling.

What Will You Learn?

  • Upon successful completion of the CCFA program, participants will be able to:
  • 1. Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and performance measurement using key ratios to diagnose a company's historical and current financial health.
  • 2. Apply and articulate the four primary corporate valuation methodologies: Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis (Comps), Precedent Transaction Analysis, and Sum-of-the-Parts.
  • 3. Evaluate complex investment projects using advanced Capital Budgeting techniques, including Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and profitability index, and account for real options.
  • 4. Determine the optimal capital structure (debt vs. equity) by understanding the trade-off theory, pecking order theory, and calculating the weighted average cost of capital (WACC).
  • 5. Construct robust, integrated 3-statement financial models and use them to perform forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
  • 6. Analyze the financial impacts and drivers of major corporate events, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and leveraged buyouts (LBOs).
